The site at Point Nepean has considerable history. Starting with early settlement, fortifications, a Quarantine Station, moving through years as military establishments and finally becoming a National Park. The area has been known by many names and we will leave that to the notes to inform you of the detail of the history.
To introduce or re-acquaint you with the area, the following two videos will bring back some memories as you view them. Our thanks to Our World for providing them via YouTube.
There are a number of others that we will list on our links page.
