Class of June 1980
The four (4) MIA, who graduated from OCS Portsea in June 1980, are:
  • Peter John JAMES – Graduated to RAAOC
  • John Frederick WEBB – Graduated to RAInf /RAR (I think 2/4 RAR initial posting)
  • Yahya bin Haji YUSOFF – Graduated to Royal Malaysian Regiment (RMR) (Inf) (Details located)
  • Aureo BELGIRA – Graduated to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Infantry – “Loyalty and Service” by Neville Lindsay (A history of OCS Portsea) records that Aureo is the recipient of the Philippine’s Bronze Cross Medal (BCM) in 1990 and ‘multiple’ Military Merit Medals (MMM)
