9RAR – South Vietnam – 23rd November 1969
Robert Convery was a graduate of the class of June 1966 from the Officer Cadet School. He was allocated to Royal Australian Infantry.
He served with the following units in Vietnam:
- 1 Australian Reinforcement Unit – 19 Nov to 16 Dec 68
- 1RAR – 17 Dec 68 to 12 Feb 69
- Headquarters, 1st Australian Logistic Support Group 13 Feb to 29 Mar 69
- 9RAR – 30 Mar to 23 Nov 69
Convery died in an incident on 23 November 1969.
