OCS Book Update #2

Thursday saw the start of interviews for the 75th Anniversary Book. Dave Morgan kicked of interviews with our only surviving father and son duo. Brian (Dec 52) and David (Jun 80) got the ball rolling with some interesting content. Both graduated to Infantry. Brian served in Korea, Malaya and Vietnam on operational service while David served with the Rifle Company Butterworth.

I believe that the chat was lively with some interesting comparisons being made between life as a cadet in 1952 and subsequently in 1980.

The ball is rolling, so if you were advised that you’d be interviewed, expect a call or email from Dave to organise an appropriate time for a chat.

Remember that class orderlies have been advised of the planning for the 75th Anniversary. We are trying to gauge the interest for the celebration and also the book. As Loyalty and Service is no longer available, we have contacted Neville LIndsay to see if we can organise an additional run of that book as well.
